Get Mileage

Corsair integrates with PC Miler to provide accurate mileage information between points.

  1. In the sidebar, select Rating > Miler. The Miler page displays.

  2. Enter the mileage information, and select Get Mileage. See the "Miler Field Descriptions" below for more information about the Miler fields.

Miler Field Descriptions

Add Stop

You can add one or multiple stops to the route.

Click Add Stop, and enter the city, state, ZIP, and country.

Add Route

You can add one or multiple routes.

Click Add Route, and enter the city, state, ZIP, and country.

PC Miler Version

The current version is the default.

Note

The version is normally specified in the rate contract with the carrier.

Route Types

  • Practical - The default route type. Describes distances and driving routes that a driver would normally take to minimize time and cost. Compares the trade-off between taking the most direct path and staying on major, high-quality highways.

  • Shortest - Describes distances and driving routes that a vehicle would take to minimize the total distance traveled while still following a reasonable route. A Shortest route may have a longer drive time than a Practical route.

  • Fastest - Uses day of the week and time of day information that has been set for a route (these are optional settings for Fastest routing) to calculate the quickest route to the trip’s destination(s). The actual mileage may be longer than in a Practical route.

Distance Units

The distance units, such as miles.

Hazmat Types

If applicable, select from a list of hazmat types.

Highway Only

Exclude all roads other than highways.

Avoid Tolls

Exclude all toll roads.
