General Settings

As an administrator, you can configure general settings for the X1 system.

General tab

Field

Description

Require Peer Review?

You can enable or disable the peer review process for changes to the system.

When Peer Review is enabled, changes to integrations, processors, translators, and other components must be approved by a peer with the Manager role or higher before they can be activated.

AI Code Review?

Administrators can enable the Exey AI service to review all saved script code. If enabled, scripts are reviewed for potential malicious code and other security vulnerabilities before they're saved.

FTP tab

You can configure the default FTP settings for the X1 system. These settings include the host (default FTP server), port, authorization type, username, and password that X1 FTP components will use unless they're overridden in the component configuration.

Mail tab

You can configure the default Mail settings for the X1 system. These settings include the host (default Mail server), port, authorization type, username, and password that X1 Mail components will use unless they're overridden in the component configuration.

Field

Description

Email Alerts?

Configure whether X1 will send error notifications through email. If so, you can configure the host, port, authorization type, and default email addresses to send alerts to, as well as any email addresses configured at the integration level.

Use Custom Branding?

Add custom HTML and CSS so that the emails your flows generate look professional and match your branding.

Or, you can select AI Suggestion for the Exey AI assistant to help you compose valid HTML and CSS.

Note

  • If you don’t select this option, default X1 branding will be used on your emails.

  • The configurations you use with this option also apply to all emails that come out of X1.

AS2 tab

Enable AS2 Server? - You can configure global AS2 server settings so you don't have to repeat the settings for each AS2 endpoint.

If enabled, the server-specific configuration settings display as listed in the table below:
