Add a Service Failure to a Shipment
Note
You can add a service failure only to shipments with one of the following statuses:
Booked
In Transit
Delivered
You can add a service failure to a shipment. Tracking this information can be useful for reporting purposes. such as carrier scorecards or vendor/customer compliance.
Add a service failure to a shipment from the Details for Shipment page
On the map, select Add Service Failure from the drop-down list.
In the New Incident dialog box, enter the service failure information and select Save Incident. See the "Service Failure Field Descriptions" below for more information about the service failure fields.
Service Failure Field Descriptions
Field | Description |
---|---|
Type | Select a type that most closely describes the service failure. |
Related Stop | The stop that was impacted by the service failure. |
Severity | The severity level of the service failure. |
Carrier | The carrier involved in the service failure. |
Actual Date/Time | The date and time of the service failure. |
City | The city where the service failure occurred. |
Comment | Add comments that further describe the service failure. |
State | The state where the service failure occurred. |
Postal Code | The postal code where the service failure occurred. |
