Events & Milestones in a Shipment
The Events & Milestones section records and displays significant events of a shipment such as its pickup and delivery details as well as other updates while in transit. You can also add shipment events or incidents manually.
View the events and milestones in a shipment
There are two sections on the Details for Shipment page where you can view the events and milestones in a shipment.
On the Details for Shipment page, in the Events & Milestones section, select Show Events & Incidents.
Note
You can optionally select Show events with no location to include displaying events that have no attached location, such as In Transit.

On the Details for Shipment page, you can add, edit, duplicate, and delete events.
In the Events & Milestones section, select Add New Event.
Note
If you have carrier direct integration set up, tracking details will be retrieved automatically through the API on a set schedule.
If the shipment status is In Transit and the mode is LTL, you can try retrieving tracking details outside of the regular API request schedule. In the top right corner of the page (on the map), select Request Tracking from the drop-down list.
Enter the event information and select Save Event. See the "New Event Field Descriptions" below for more information about the new event fields.
